Primulina ‘Autumntime’

Primulina ‘Autumntime’, 2020, IR201542, hybridized by Haixia Yan, Shikai Guan，Jinye Zhou, Dayan Tao, Flower Research Institute of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Nanning, China. (P. hochiensis x P. guizhongensis). Cross made 11.01.2019, seeds planted 12.20.2019, first flowering 10.18.2020. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 5.9-7.0 cm long, 3.1-4.1 cm wide, 1.3-3.2 cm petiole, elliptic, with cuneate base, acute tip, serrate margin, hairy. Calyx split, light green to green, 0.4-0.7 cm. Length of the pedicel 0.8-2.0 cm, 1-2 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.0-3.7 cm long x 1.0-1.4 cm wide, purple. The potting medium must be loose, providing plenty of air permeability.
