Primulina ‘Cat’s Flamingo’

Primulina ‘Cat’s Flamingo’, 2015, IR151283, Lai Bi-dan, Huang Yi-qin, Guangxi, China (P. fimbrisepala  P. linearifolia). Cross made Feb. 25, 2012, planted Mar.20, 2012, and first flowered Jan 20, 2014.  Reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette.  Leaves dark green with short gray or white hair, dark red veins on the back of the leaves, 10-12 cm long x 4-5 cm wide with 3-6 cm petiole, lanceolate with serrate margin, cuneate base and acute tip, hairy. Calyx split, dark red, 0.3-0.5 cm long. Pedicel 2-3 cm with 8-12 flowers. Corolla salverform, 5-6 cm long x 2.7-3.8 cm wide, pink with bright yellow guidelines and some pink spots in the throat.  Easy to grow, avoid direct light. The temperature should be in a range of 0 – 30C.
