Primulina ‘SCBG Yellow Trumpet’, 2021, IR211592, hybridized by Ning Zu-lin, Li Dong-mei, Chen Ling, South China Botanical Garden, Guangzhou, China. (P. lutea x P. swinglei). Cross made 07.15.2013, seeds planted 11.10.2013, first flowering 08.2015. Reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves deep green, 8-12 cm long, 4.5-7.5 cm wide, 4-7 cm petiole, ovate to lanceolate with cuneate base, acute tip, entire margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 2-2.2 cm. Length of the pedicel 2-3 cm, 7-12 flowers per axil. Bracts ovate, 2.8-3.2 × 1.5-1.8 cm, green. Corolla salverform, 5.0-5.6 cm long, 2.2×2.5 cm wide, tube greyish purple with reddish brown stripes at the mouth, lobes brilliant yellow. It prefers a good natural light and moist substrate.
