Primulina ‘Sugar Plum Fairy’, 2020, IR201530 registered by Li Shu, Wen Fang, Wei Yi-gang, Guangxi Institute of Botany, CAS & GCCC, Guilin, China. (P. balansae  x  P. pseudolinearifolia). Cross made 04.09.2016, seeds planted 03.08.2017, first flowering 04.05.2018. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Erect habit, stem length 5-18 cm. Leaves green 9-18 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, 1.8-2 cm petiole, linear, with cuneate base, acute tip, entire margin, smooth, hairy. Calyx split, green, 0.5 cm. Length of the pedicel 1-1.2 cm, 3-6 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 2.5-3 cm long x 1.5 cm wide, pink. Flowers have pink lips with a white tube and yellow honeyguides. Shade-tolerant but enjoys bright scattered light, prefers moist but well-drained substrate, will not bear temperature below freezing.
