Primulina ‘Ziguan Suyi’, 2021, IR211635, hybridized by Haixia Yan, Dayan Tao, Shikai Guan,Qian Song; Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Nanning, China. (P. guizhongensis x P. lutvittata). Cross made 10.11.2019, seeds planted 12.02.2019, first flowering 07.16.2021. Sterile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, acaulescent. Leaves green, 6.7-9.0 cm long, 4.0-6.0 cm wide, 2.0-5.4 cm petiole, ovate with cuneate base, acute tip, crenate margin, hairy. Calyx split, green, 0.5-1.1 cm. Length of the pedicel 1.2-2.6 cm, 10 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 2.8-3.2 cm long x 1.2-1.4 cm wide, purple. The plants require a damp environment, but can withstand a degree of drought. Although this hybrid grows best in shady conditions, it can tolerate direct sunlight.
