Primulina ‘Fixed Star’, 2022, IR221714, hybridized by Lin Mao, Li Bing, Li Jinhua, Sun Lina, Yang Shuting, Chen Er; Guangxi Forestry Research Institute; Nanning, China. (P. linearifolia x P. macrorhiza). Cross made 01.10.2020, seeds planted 04.23.2020, first flowering 01.15.2021. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem 14.2 cm. Leaves color YELLOW-GREEN GROUP 147 Moderate Olive Green A, 10.5-13.0 cm long, 3.2-4.0 cm wide, 1.5-2.2 cm petiole, linear with cuneate base, acute tip, crenate margin, hairy. Calyx split, color YELLOW-GREEN GROUP 144 strong yellow green B, 10 mm. Length of the pedicel 1.8-2.5 cm, 4 flowers per axil. Corolla salverform, 3.9-4.5 cm long, 2.9-3.2 cm wide, color PURPLE – VIOLEF GROUP N 82 light purple C. The flower quantity is large, the corolla is lavender to white, the flowering period is from January to March. Suitable for growing in scattered light environment, easy to cultivate.
