Sinningia ‘Stain’s Purpl-Eveil’, 2022, IR221706, hybridized by Hao Yanling, Liu Shiliang, Ji Xuwu; Chengdu Agricultural College; Sichuan Agricultural University; Wenjiang Suiren-nianfeng Agricultural Science and Technology Studio; Chengdu, Sichuan, China. [(S. ‘Queen Victoria’ x S. ‘Elegant White’) x S. unnamed hybrid-1]. Cross made 06.23.2017, seeds planted 01.10.2018, first flowering 05.15.2018. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette, stem ca.12 cm. Leaves light green with pubescence, 10-12 cm long, 5-6 cm wide, 4-5 cm petiole, ovate with cordate base, acute tip, crenate margin, smooth. Calyx split, green, 2-3 cm. Length of the pedicel 3-4 cm, 3-5 flowers per axil. Corolla peloric, 6-7.6 cm long, 6-7.6 cm wide, light purple edge of the petals gradually turning into dark purple ring at the entrance of the throat. Fragrant. Prefers the sunlit, warm and humid environment with acidic soil, shade required during flowering.
