Sinningia ‘Rock Lyrics’

Sinningia ‘Rock Lyrics’, 2016, IR161331, hybridized by Jay Sespico, FL ((S. ‘Thad’s Gas Planet’ x S.’Bristols Good Morning’) x S.’Scensational Pepperpot’). Cross made 10.15.2013, planted 02.04.2014, and first flowered 06.03.2014.   Reproducible only vegetatively. Rosette, stem length 0.5 in. Leaves medium green, 8.75 in. long, 6 in. wide, with 2.7 in. petiole, ovate with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, light green, 0.75 in.. Pedicel 5.4 in. with 1-4 flower per axil. Corolla peloric, upright with radial symmetry 2.5 in.  long x 3.9 in. wide, purple with mauve edge. Extremely floriferous hybrid,  flowers have a pleasant floral fragrance.
