Sinningia ‘Rock Return’

Sinningia ‘Rock Return’, 2017, IR171367, hybridized by Jay Sespico, FL.  ((S.’Rock Presence’ x S. ‘Bristol’s Good Morning’) x (S. ‘Rock Presence’ x S. ‘Rock Loves Jerry’)) Cross made 06.15.2016, planted 08.21.2016, and first flowered 12.16.2016. Fertile, reproducible only vegetatively. Basal rosette. Leaves medium green with white veining, 6.5”. long, 3.7 in. wide, with 2 in. petiole, ovate with cuneate base, crenate margin and acute tip. Calyx split, green, 1.1 in. long. Pedicel 4.1 in. long with 1 flower per axil. Corolla salverform 2.7 in. long x 3.4 in. wide, dark crimson with a thin white edge on the petals and white throat..  Nodding flowers with darker red spots on lower petals and throat.
