Streptocarpus ‘Roselle’

Streptocarpus ‘Roselle’, J.E.Page, UK. (parentage unknown). Cross made 2010, planted 2010 and first flowered 2012. Fertile, but reproducible only vegetatively.  Basal  rosette. Leaves mid-green, 9.5 cm long, 6.5cm wide with 2 cm petiole, smooth, lanceolate , acuminate tip and cuneate base. Calyx  fused, green, 1 cm  long. Pedicel  1 cm long, 5  flowers per leaf axil. Corolla salverform, 2 cm long x 1 cm. wide, blue trumpet  with slight yellow in the throat, tube white. Flowers last for a long time.
